Jennifer Lopez combined the baggy pants and cute shoe trends

If you’re at all familiar with Jennifer Lopez’s style (and you probably are), you know that her choice of shoe trends isn’t typically considered “sweet” or modest. But every once in a while, she surprises us all and chooses something drastically different from the chunky shoes, heels, or sneakers she usually wears, as she did yesterday in a photo taken at a Beverly Hills hotel.

For the occasion, Lopez opted for a smart outfit: a white blouse and loose pleated trousers, and instead of sky-high heels, she wore ballet flats that tie around her ankles. This isn’t the first time Lopez has worn ballet flats (she wore another pair on her honeymoon in Paris with Ben Affleck), but she doesn’t wear this shoe trend often, especially the kind that tie around the ankle.
