At the U.S. Olympic Trials, track and field star Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone set a world record when she won the women’s 400-meter hurdles in Eugene, Oregon, while gymnastics star Tianna Sumanasekera will compete on the uneven bars in Minneapolis.
Other pictures show Indian fans waving the national flag before the Twenty20 World Cup cricket final in Bridgetown, Barbados, which was a closely fought match in which India beat South Africa by just seven runs.
