Shares of Tesla rose 4% after the electric car maker reported better-than-expected second-quarter delivery numbers.
Deliveries for the period totaled 440,000, beating analyst expectations of 436,000. Tesla said it produced 411,000 vehicles.

Stocks with the biggest price movements in premarket trading
Let’s take a look at some of the companies making waves in pre-market trading.
- Tesla – Shares of the electric car maker rose 6% during trading hours on Monday before falling 1.5% before the close. The company is scheduled to report second-quarter delivery numbers on Tuesday morning.
- Atlassian Corporation — Shares rose nearly 2% following an upgrade to overweight by Piper Sandler. Analyst Rob Owens opined that the software stock has the potential to grow as consumers move their data to the cloud. Owens added that the current stock price represents an attractive entry point for investors.
- Paramount Global — Shares of the veteran media company rose more than 3% after reports that its streaming division is in talks with multiple companies about a potential merger. CNBC previously reported that one of the parties involved is Warner Bros. Discovery, which could be involved in a merger between Paramount+ and Max.

A survey of job openings and labor force mobility for May is due to be released Tuesday morning. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones expect job openings to fall to 7.9 million last month from 8.1 million in April.
The data is scheduled to be released at 10 a.m. ET.
