AMRITSAR: The alleged attendance of several wanted Sikh militants at the funeral of Sikh hijacker and Dal Khalsa founder Gajinder Singh Khalsa has cast doubt on Pakistan’s claim of the presence of Sikh militants in the country. According to reliable sources, wanted Sikh militants including Babbar Khalsa International activist Harbinder Singh Sandhu (aka Linda, reportedly killed in Pakistan), pro-Khalistani terrorist Rabinder Singh Pinka and lesser known terrorists like Hansraj Singh and Satti Singh attended Gajinder’s funeral at the ‘Shamshan Ghat’ (cremation ground) in Nankana Sahib. Sources said that the granthi of Gurdwara Janamashan Daya Singh offered an ardha at the funeral, which took place late on Thursday night. Sources claim that the Pakistani government wants to clear wanted militants from Pakistan to forge friendly ties with India and is slowly poisoning Ghazimdar. Ghazimdar was found residing in a farmhouse called K Farm in Nankana Sahib. Pakistan has consistently denied that wanted Indian militants are present inside Pakistan. However, sporadic reports detailing their activities, involvement in anti-India operations and occasional deaths continue to cast doubt on Pakistan’s claims. Last year, there were reports that Pakistan’s Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) commander, Paramjit Singh Panjwal, was killed.
