USA Diving has announced its coaching staff for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Indiana University Diving Head Coach Drew Johansen After qualifying, he was named head coach at his fourth consecutive Olympic Games. Andrew Capobianco and Carson Tyler Team: Coach, University of Minnesota Wenbo Chen He was appointed assistant coach. Sarah Bacon and Cassidy Cook He was on the team and also served as an assistant coach on the 2008 Olympic team and coached at the 2012 Olympics.
David Boudia, Dwight Dumais, Jenny Johansen, Matt Scogin and John Wingfield He will serve as an additional coaching member of the staff.
USA Diving employs a very objective procedure for selecting staff: the head coach with the most qualifications on the team is appointed head coach, and the head coach with the second most qualifications on the team is appointed assistant coach.
The additional coaches will be regular coaches and their participation in the Olympics will depend on the final coaching allocation.
