Katie, this is your fourth Olympics.
Is this the end?
Someone asked me, I don’t know, I don’t want to know, I don’t know.
Hmm, I’m going to enjoy this.
Stay in the present.
Have fun along the way.
Does this one feel a bit different than the last?
It’s just because of the star power and the expectations, you know?
No, that’s not right.
There are expectations every time you step on the court. No matter who is on your team, you can’t lose a game.
So I think expectations are always there.
So, it was, it was, it was, it was, I think, hands down, since I’ve been at USA B, we’ve played on the deepest team from top to bottom.
Everyone is part of their own team.
You know, I think there was a lot going on last year.
I mean, in the last Olympics, we had a couple of guys who were young and role players in the league and they worked hard in camp and got that opportunity, and that’s great, but they weren’t the best players in the league.
You should understand what I’m saying?
They’re Hall of Fame players, All-Stars, so I’m very excited.
I think the experience of 21 will help the culture at USA B. And what kind of team do we need to be to continue to dominate?
And we’re bringing that to this group and I think it’s going to be fun.
Is it different playing under Steve Kerr with Steph?
It’s the dynamic and familiarity between you two.
Do you think there’s anything different?
As it was last time, I think it will be a seamless and easy transition.
Well, I know, I know Steph loves the ball.
I know his game and he knows my game.
“I think it will be easy because Steve knows my game well and I know what he wants from his players.
