Led by University of Virginia golfers Ben James and Amanda Samback, Team USA defeated Team International, 32.5-27.5, to win the Arnold Palmer Cup for the second consecutive year.
The win, played at Lahinch Golf Club in Lahinch, Ireland, was the American’s first international victory since 2018.
In singles matches on Sunday, Samback defeated Adela Cernosek (Texas A&M University) 2-1, while James drew with Max Kennedy (Florida State University) to win 0.5 points.
On Saturday, James and Sambac won two matches each in foursomes and mixed foursomes, the latter of which they partnered in.

Baltimore DB goes to UVA
Corey Costner (6-foot-0, 185 pounds), a defensive back from Perry Hall High School in Baltimore, has committed to the University of Virginia.
He played both offense and defense last season, recording 28 tackles, three interceptions and catching 39 passes for 709 yards and six touchdowns.
Costner chose the Cavaliers over Indiana.
- Miles Glover, a 6-foot-8, 330-pound offensive lineman out of Pace Academy in Atlanta, announced on social media that he has committed to the University of William & Mary.

Former NSU star shines at 7 Cities Pro-Am
Former Norfolk State star Joe Bryant Jr. scored 28 points to lead First Class RE to a 109-79 victory over Daddy James BBQ in the Hampton Roads 7 Cities Pro-Am on Sunday at Norview High School.
Another former NSU star, Christian Ings, also scored 26 points at Daddy James BBQ.
In other matches on Sunday, ECG beat Harvey Lindsay 78-77, Jarkham defeated Newlands 76-73 and the Tidewater Wildcats defeated Team Brown 78-73.
Longwood’s Michael Christmas scored 34 points for Harvey Lindsay.
