LAS VEGAS — With the Summer Las Vegas Market kicking off in a few weeks, one home builder plans to introduce three carefully selected trend themes as part of the debut of its new showroom.
Coaster Fine Furniture will feature three thematic and curated galleries during the Summer Market on the eighth floor of Building A, focusing on “on-trend” products and unique designs.
The three trend galleries include Viva Las Vegas, Desert Rose and Quiet Luxury. The thematic galleries, curated under the direction of Crystal Nguyen, vice president of merchandise and strategic product planning, include products at every price point, from promotional to luxury, supporting Coaster’s “buy product” strategy and highlighting the company’s “exceptional value coupled with parallel warehousing, logistics and customer service standards,” company officials said.
Viva Las Vegas
Nguyen says the products in this trend gallery are an evolution of glamour that reflects modern Italian luxury. The collection combines all-white décor with metallic accents and a complementary color palette with light gray, black and taupe accents. Materials include glass, chrome, stainless steel and pearlized wood. Curved and rounded pieces reflect the demand for rounded shapes.
Desert Rose
Also referred to as the “spicy room” by the Coaster team, Desert Rose showcases warm, rustic home décor reminiscent of the Southwestern style of the 1980s and 1990s, with chunky natural wood pieces added to the mix, as well as inlaid Indian artisanal décor.
“Imagine decorating an Airbnb in Joshua Tree,” Nguyen says, “with butterscotch leather dining chairs, matte black metals and splashes of stripes, ceramics and faux fur for a fun look. ’80s and ’90s home decor styles are back in fashion, along with a renewed interest in biophilic design. Inspired by the unique beauty of the Mojave, our Desert Rose collection is where these trends intersect. For consumers looking to reconnect with nature within the comfort of their own home, Desert Rose offers a rustic oasis.”
Quiet Luxury
Coaster’s “Quiet Luxury” gallery blends “old money” with new affordable trends, insiders said. The trend pairs sleek dark and light wood finishes with matte, aged gold metals. Materials include marble, leather, matte velvet, and clean lines, fluting and fluting.
“There’s an undeniable allure in emulating the fashion of the rich and famous, which is why ‘glamorous’ was so popular in the past,” Nguyen says. “Flashy and flashy, it was both a fashion statement and a status symbol. But as the old saying goes, money talks, and wealth whispers. Extravagant designs are now widely viewed as over the top and fake. Consumers are now drawn to understated elegance.”
Coaster Fine Furniture is a second-generation company with five branches, two U.S. distribution centers and more than 400 employees. The company offers selections for the whole home, from casual to formal, including living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, home offices and accent décor.
