Jessy Mendiola has spoken out against the recent trend of fans filming videos of themselves in front of the graves of their deceased loved ones. The late actor Rico YangThe actress lamented the lack of “decency” among some people.

Mendiola made these remarks while sharing an article discussing how the trend has sparked negative reactions on social media, as seen on the actress’ Instagram Story on Tuesday, July 9.

Yang is best known for his roles in the hit films “Mula sa Puso,” “Got 2 Believe” and “Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita,” in which he co-starred with his on-screen and real-life partner, Claudine Barretto.

Yang died in March 2002 at the age of 27. The cause of death was announced as cardiac arrest due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis.
