Social media is a fast-changing world for content creators. From viral dances to food hacks, new trends can captivate millions overnight. While these viral sensations often wow the internet, some can be harmful and dangerous. The latest trend garnering widespread attention is “think drinks,” and experts are sounding the alarm.
This video, posted by popular content creator Tipsy Bartender, shows a unique drink recipe: Pour some sliced fruit and a bag of ice into a kitchen basin, then pour in multiple bottles of alcohol, including tequila, wine, tonic water and juice cans. After mixing, pour into a glass and drink.
While some were enthralled by the drink, many expressed concern, with one user writing, “This guy is literally making poison,” and another saying, “What on earth are people content with these days?”
“It doesn’t matter how clean the sink is, but I would never eat or drink directly from the sink,” the comment read.
Another said: “Not in a dirty sink?”

Recently, experts have warned against drinking this virus beverage directly from the sink. Medical Programme Leader Dr Gareth Nye said doing so in the kitchen sink is one of the most dangerous places in the home in terms of germs you may come into contact with. “The kitchen sink is typically considered one of the most dangerous places in the kitchen because it’s where we throw out cooked and uncooked food waste, and where we wash our hands after touching raw meat or other spills,” he said, as quoted by LADbible.
The doctor also said a study by the National Sanitation Foundation found that 45 percent of kitchen sinks tested positive for coliform bacteria, such as E. coli, and 27 percent contained mold, which has been linked to allergic reactions and respiratory illnesses.
