‘What are you smoking’: Harbhajan Singh slams Pakistani journalist for comparing MS Dhoni with Mohammed Rizwan | Cricket News

New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has slammed a Pakistani journalist who compared legendary India captain MS Dhoni with Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammed Rizwan. Harbhajan, who played 103 Test matches, 236 ODIs and 28 T20Is for India between 1998 and 2016, slammed the journalist for posting a picture of Dhoni and Rizwan and asking his followers which one is better.

While reprimanding the Pakistani journalist, Harbhajan also praised Rizwan’s batting prowess in his message.

“What are you smoking these days? Stupid question. No joke. Dhoni is not going to ask Rizwan. If you ask Rizwan he will answer honestly. I like Rizwan. He is a good player who always plays with intent. But this comparison is wrong. Dhoni is number one in world cricket even today. No one is better behind the stumps,” Harbhajan wrote on his social media handle.

Expanding

Dhoni has led India to two historic World Cup victories, captaining the country to their first ever ICC T20 World Cup triumph in 2007, beating Pakistan in a thrilling final.

Four years later, in 2011, he captained India to victory in the ICC Cricket World Cup, ending a winless streak that lasted 28 years.

His not-out 91 in the final against Sri Lanka, including a memorable victory-winning six, has gone down in cricket history books.

Dhoni has led India to two World Cup victories and also led them to the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.
