(Nasdaq: DKNG) today announced its intention to launch a leading online sportsbook in Washington, D.C., pending licensing and regulatory approvals. The expansion into the nation’s capital follows a market access agreement with DC United, which paves the way for the digital sports entertainment and gaming company to operate in the District of Columbia. Once operational, Washington DC will be the company’s 29th city.Number North American jurisdictions in which DraftKings Sportsbook operates.
