US Vice President Kamala Harris signed the papers to officially declare her candidacy for the US presidential election, and pledged to ensure that her campaign will win the November election with the power of the people. Harris emphasized on social media X that her campaign will win the November election with the power of the people.

Harris also reiterated that she would work to count every vote. “Today, I signed the paperwork officially declaring my candidacy for President of the United States. I will work to count every vote, and in November, our People Powered Campaign will be won,” Harris said in the post.

With Biden’s support, Vice President Kamala Harris will be the Democratic candidate in the US presidential elections to be held on November 5. On Friday, former US President Barack Obama officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the post of US President following Joe Biden’s recent withdrawal from the race.

President Obama said he and former First Lady Michelle Obama will do everything in their power to help Harris win the presidential election in November. In a post on X, President Barack Obama said, “Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend Kamala Harris to let her know she would be a great President of the United States and that we have her full support. At this critical time for our country, we will do everything in our power to help her win in November, and I encourage you to join us in this effort.”

On Wednesday, actor and Democratic fundraiser George Clooney endorsed Harris for president of the United States. Earlier this week, US President Joe Biden addressed the nation from the Oval Office, thanking Kamala Harris and calling her “a fantastic vice president.”

“She’s experienced, she’s tough and she’s capable. She’ll be a great partner for me and a great leader for our country. Now the choice is up to the American people,” Biden said.

Additionally, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stressed that there is no one more suited to be the Democratic presidential nominee than Vice President Kamala Harris.
