The world will be watching when Simone Biles and the U.S. women’s gymnastics team make their Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Sunday.
Biles will compete in all four events in the qualifying round on Sunday in her bid to win her second Olympic all-around title after suffering an abrupt exit from the Beijing Olympics four years ago with a “sprained ankle.”
The 27-year-old will be the anchor, or final competitor, on balance beam, floor exercise and vault. She has submitted her own skills to the International Gymnastics Federation and will be the second-to-last athlete representing the United States on the uneven bars.
If Biles nails the move in the preliminaries, it will be entered into the sport’s points code and named after her — the superstar already has five elements named after her on the points code.
If you’re excited to see the team in action but not sure when you can tune in, don’t worry: we’ve got all the information you need to know right here, including what to expect and when you can tune in.
