Krispy Kreme is gearing up to support Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
To celebrate the opening of the Olympics, the doughnut brand will be offering fans doughnuts for just $1 each on Wednesday, July 31. The best part is, there’s no quantity limit for this in-store only sale.
The cheap treats continue the next day: On Thursday, August 1, Krispy Kreme Rewards members can get unlimited Original Glazed doughnuts for $1. This offer can be redeemed in a variety of ways, including in stores, on the app, and on the website.
As part of the two-day celebration sale, Krispy Kreme will be selling a limited-time “GO USA” dozen featuring three different flavors in support of Team USA.
The Go USA doughnut is the original glazed doughnut, dipped in white icing and decorated with blue and red stripes and gold sprinkles as a homage to the American flag.
Krispy Kreme’s next patriotic doughnut is the Chocolate Icing Glazed Sprinkles, which is dipped in chocolate icing and decorated with red, white and blue sprinkles.
The final piece in the collection is, of course, the original glazes.
Earlier this month, the bakery chain launched three donut varieties inspired by the French dessert in celebration of the Summer Olympics. The “Passport to Paris” collection includes a crème brûlée donut, a double chocolate eclair donut, and a raspberry and vanilla cream donut.
The Crème Brûlée Doughnut replicates the traditional flaky texture of the custard dessert: a simple doughnut filled with crème brûlée-flavored cream and topped with caramel icing and a crunchy caramelized sugar topping.
The Double Chocolate Eclair Doughnut is perfect for chocolate lovers – a simple doughnut filled with chocolate custard, frosted with chocolate icing and topped with chocolate pearls.
The Raspberry Vanilla Cream Donut is the only glazed donut in the range, with the pink treat topped with raspberry icing, cookie crumbs and a generous dollop of vanilla cream.
