According to the FIR, during a protest outside the Press Club, Shah incited hatred against the judiciary and offered a reward of 10 million Pakistani rupees to anyone who offered the head of Justice Faez Isa. The FIR also contains charges against 1,500 TLP officials.

The FIR was registered after Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said stern action would be taken against those issuing death threats to the Chief Justice and stressed that the state would not tolerate such fatwas.

Speaking at a press conference, Asif condemned the inflammatory comments made against Chief Justice Isa and highlighted attempts on social media to incite people to murder. He warned that allowing such rhetoric could lead to the collapse of the state.

Celebration Offer

The Defence Minister noted that there was incitement to violence in the name of religion and that Chief Justice Isa was being targeted on various pretexts.

The Minister reiterated that the country will not accept coercive conditions from any entity and stressed the importance of upholding the rule of law and justice in the country.
