Last year, when the Eastlake Cup was held at the Atlanta Athletic Club, Tech finished third in stroke play, losing to North Carolina in the semifinals and defeating Florida in the third-place game. Fontenot, then a freshman, earned medalist honors.

The tournament features four teams from each of the men’s and women’s semifinals from the previous year’s NCAA Championships, competing in stroke play and match play. East Lake Golf Club measures 7,195 yards and plays to a par of 72.
