Organized by the Chengdu government, this event aims to help Chengdu emerge as a major global center for panda-themed cultural and creative initiatives.
As an important part of the Dujiangyan Panda Creation Project, Dujiangyan City, in cooperation with the National Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center, will select giant pandas to serve as ambassadors. The city will engage participants from various categories such as sculpture, painting, video, and design to showcase the diverse cultural values of the giant panda IP and promote its use in public spaces, tourism, and digital applications.
Local cultural and tourism groups will lead the giant panda cultural innovation platform, promoting cooperation and mutual benefits among participants. The identity of the panda representing Dujiangyan City will be revealed soon.

Next, at the Giant Panda Cultural and Creative IP Creation Salon, leaders and artists from the domestic cultural and creative industry discussed the creation and realization of Giant Panda’s cultural and creative IP.
Zhou Xiaodong, general manager of Chengdu Dujiangyan Investment and Development Group, cited the cooperation opportunity of the Dujiangyan giant panda project. The group plans to build restaurants, hotels, cultural facilities and other giant panda-themed facilities in the city.
In recent years, Dujiangyan has been promoting tourism development with the theme of giant pandas, holding various events and creating related brands.
