The Punjab government has issued a notification regarding changes to school timings in specific areas of Lahore, in light of the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) X matches at Gaddafi Stadium.
According to the notification, schools in the areas near Gaddafi Stadium, including Gulberg, Model Town, Ichhra, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Shadman, Canal Road, Upper Mall, and Zahoor Elahi Road, will observe new timings during the PSL X matches.
The revised timings will be from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM to accommodate the matches and minimise disruptions for students and staff.
The HBL PSL matches in Lahore are scheduled between April 24 and May 18, with all matches set to begin at 7:00 PM, either as day or night games.
In addition, practice matches for the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers have begun in the Walled City, with the final match scheduled for April 19.
The HBL PSL X will begin from Friday, April 11 with defending champions Islamabad United taking on two times champions Lahore Qalandars.
