Pakistan strongly condemned recent statements by the Israeli occupying power, expressing its intention to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land, Foreign Affairs ministry said.

A press release posted on Ministry of Foreign Affairs official website stated, “Such actions are a clear violation of international law and a deliberate attempt to sabotage efforts for achieving peace and stability in the region.”

It further maintained that forced displacement and continued expansion of illegal settlements reflect Israel’s disregard for international human rights and humanitarian law.

“We call upon the international community to play its role in addressing the humanitarian plight of the civilians and to hold Israel accountable,” read the MOFA release.

Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their just struggle for self-determination and for a sovereign, independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, it concluded.

It is important to note that Israel stands accused of committing genocide against the Palestinian people, as its relentless airstrikes on civilian areas have resulted in the deaths of more than 64,000 individuals, including women, children, doctors, human rights defenders, journalists, and people from various walks of life.

In addition, Israel has obstructed the delivery of humanitarian aid, plunging the region into famine. In the face of such inhumane treatment, the international community has condemned Israeli atrocities and held demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people. However, despite global outrage, Israel has continued to unleash strikes on unarmed civilians.
