‘If a visa is cancelled in the UK, a ten-year ban is usually imposed, but I am not seeking such a ban’

Pakistani YouTuber Raja Butt has denied reports of being deported from the UK, insisting he returned home by choice and not under removal orders. “A person does not return in business class after being deported,” he said on Wednesday, rejecting speculation circulating online.

Butt explained that while he was not deported, his UK visa had been cancelled. “My visa has been cancelled, and an application has been submitted to the Home Office stating that there are cases pending against me,” he said.

He added that he had been holding a 10-year visa, which his lawyer has now challenged through a review.

He further stated, “My name is not on the Exit Control List. I will remain in Pakistan as long as the case is ongoing. If a visa is cancelled in the UK, a ten-year ban is usually imposed, but I am not seeking such a ban. I may need to travel for visits, but I will continue to reside in Pakistan.”

Butt was allegedly deported from England on a morning flight after British authorities cancelled his visa, according to reports surfacing Tuesday night. British government revoked his visa after the Home Department issued a written decision informing him of the cancellation.

According to the Home Department, Butt did not disclose the cases registered against him in Pakistan at the time of his visa application. Once the authorities became aware of this, they arrested him, cancelled his visa and ordered his deportation. He has said he intends to challenge the Home Department’s decision and will pursue an appeal in London.

He stated that he will appear in Karachi within ten days.

Rajab Butt, widely recognised for his family vlogs, luxury lifestyle, and controversial conduct, has over 8.2 million subscribers on YouTube and 2.7 million followers on Instagram. Butt has faced legal action in Pakistan over charges related to the promotion of betting apps, and later moved to the United Kingdom.

Nadeem Naniwala also addressed social media rumours, stating, “It is being circulated that my visa has been removed. My visa has not been removed, as I hold citizenship.”

He confirmed that there are two FIRs registered against him, adding that he has obtained bail from the Islamabad High Court and the case will now proceed.

“I met with Ducky, and our discussion was shared on social media. Everything will be revealed at the appropriate time,” Nadeem Naniwala concluded.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted protective bail on Tuesday until today to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala in cases relating to a gambling app and cybercrime, directing authorities not to arrest them upon landing at Islamabad Airport.
