Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening defence ties with Libya based on shared interests.

Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and expressed interest in expanding defence cooperation with Pakistan.

In early December 2025, Field Marshal Asim Munir addressed a guard of honour ceremony in Rawalpindi, highlighting the historic significance of the newly established Defence Forces Headquarters. He described it as a crucial step in the evolving military landscape.
