President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will undertake his first official visit to Pakistan on December 26, 2025, the Foreign Office said on Wednesday.

The visit is being undertaken at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers and senior officials.

During the visit, the UAE president will hold talks with the prime minister. The two leaders are expected to review the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

According to the Foreign Office, the visit will provide an important opportunity to further strengthen the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

It said the visit reflects the depth of bilateral ties and the shared commitment of both countries to further enhance cooperation in key areas, including trade, investment, energy, development and regional stability.

It is noteworthy to mention that, while the Foreign Office said this is the UAE President’s first official visit to Pakistan, Al Nahyan also paid a visit in January earlier this year, when he was received by the prime minister in Rahim Yar Khan.
