After what seemed like a long hiatus, the NTT IndyCar Series season will resume with the second points race of 2024 at the 49th Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

After Chevrolet sweeps the top four at St. Pete• Long Beach has historically been a good location for Andretti Global, winning four of the past five races. Including Kyle Kirkwood’s first career win last year.. The team’s next win in Long Beach will tie Team Penske’s record (seven wins).
—Who will drive Arrow McLaren’s No. 6 Dallara Chevrolet? Replaced injured David Markus(F2 champion Théo Pourcher is expected to be announced as a likely candidate on Thursday morning.)
— IndyCar also plans to roll out a lightweight aero screen that provides a better cooling system while helping drivers avoid hand injuries. The 11.1-pound weight reduction reduces downforce by 35 pounds.
—Long Beach will also begin the grueling road to IndyCar, completing competitive laps criss-crossing the United States (from Long Beach to Barber to Indy) in seven of the next eight weeks. Become.
