Victoria Beckham: Spice Girls reunite… for Posh’s 50th birthday

All five members of the Spice Girls have reunited, but perhaps not in the way you expected.

Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie Chisholm, also known as Posh, Scary, Baby, Ginger and Sporty Spice, celebrate Victoria’s 50th birthday in London on Saturday night gathered at.

The bandmates partied like it was 1997 and performed their classic “Stop.”

Victoria’s husband, 48, a former England captain, wrote in the caption: “In other words, good luck.”

Victoria also commented in the comments section: “Great night! Happy birthday! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife.”

The hashtag is a reference to the Spice Girls’ song of the same name, released during their heyday in the 1990s.

The party, which is said to have taken place at Oswald’s private members’ club in Mayfair, was attended by celebrities including Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Gordon Ramsay.

“I can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends! I love you all so much,” the fashion designer wrote.

Beckham and his three sons all wore tuxedos. Victoria chose a light green ballgown while Harper wore a cream floor-length dress.

Victoria has recently been photographed on crutches, but she is not using them in the photos she shared on social media.

Although the band members did not appear to be using microphones during their birthday performance, they were seen singing together while performing a stop dance routine together.

Comedian Samuel Zernig, a “big fan” of the Spice Girls, told BBC News he “couldn’t stop smiling” after watching the video, adding: “Christmas came early.”

“It’s amazing that 30 years after we formed, this tiny, tiny video has generated worldwide headlines,” he continued.

Fans on social media were delighted to see the Spice Girls reunited for the first time in years, with Beckham’s post receiving many comments.

“David, you are the best social media manager. Thank you for providing content to people,” one person wrote.

“The moment the whole planet has been waiting for,” another wrote.

“The way my daughters feel about Taylor Swift is the same way I feel about them,” a third person said.

Other fans implored the band to tour again, with one fan asking: “Can you have a word about taking this to Glastonbury?”

Bookmaker Coral has significantly lowered the odds of an official Spice Girls reunion in 2024 and a Glastonbury show and new album in 2025 following the Birthday Bash performance.

The Spice Girls were formed in 1994 after responding to an advertisement seeking candidates to form an all-female group.

After the release of their chart-topping debut single “Wannabe” in 1996, “Spice Mania” became a band of self-proclaimed “girl power” artists, a brand of female empowerment that made them a global pop culture phenomenon. It swept the earth along with the mantra.

They had a total of nine UK number one hits. Among them are “Say You’ll Be There,” “2 Become 1,” “Who Do You Think You Are,” “Spice Up Your Life,” and “Viva Forever.” Also included.

Geri Halliwell left the Spice Girls in 1998, and the group finally disbanded in 2001. However, they reunited for a tour in 2007 and a performance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. A European tour was held in 2019, but Victoria did not participate.
