A hot trend for New England homeowners: Renting a swimming pool

New England homeowners are renting out their pools

Have you ever been jealous of your neighbor’s pool? Or maybe you have a beautiful pool at home that you never use and are still paying maintenance fees for? Pool rentals are the hottest trend in New England right now.

We all know properties with amazing pools that no one uses, and also those that are never visible from the road because they are so gorgeous and kept totally private for any event.

Thanks to Swimply.com, you can rent a swimming pool for yourself and your family in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Maine is on the list too, which is kind of surprising to me, to be honest. First off, Maine doesn’t want you to have a swimming pool. Plus, with 3,000 miles of coastline and lakes everywhere, does it really need a swimming pool?

Regardless, there are plenty of pools available to rent throughout New England.

Of course, prices vary by location. You can expect to pay $100 per hour to dive into a pool in Rye, New Hampshire. But you’re in Rye, so you’ll feel right at home (at least for a while). One of these pools includes access to a saltwater pool, a private outdoor living room, and an outdoor kitchen, which I was definitely not going to leave behind.

If you want to swim in Bill’s pool in Manchester, New Hampshire, the rate is just $25 per hour.

Have you ever borrowed someone else’s swimming pool?

If you’re a fan of interesting architecture, you’ll love this home in Greenfield, Massachusetts.

Spread across nearly two acres, it’s probably one of the most interesting floor plans we’ve ever seen.
