New Delhi: The Internet will never let you get bored or immerse yourself in monotony. Social media has kept people entertained and engaged as new trends emerge regularly. Recently, the 2001 song “San Sanana” has been trending on social media. For those who aren’t familiar, a viral trend known as “ahsoka,” or makeup trend, is taking social media by storm.

What is the “Ahsoka” makeup trend?

Like most trends, the “Ahsoka” makeup trend was born on TikTok. Soon, the trend spread to other social media platforms. Since then, content creators and makeup artists have taken to various social platforms to recreate the look. It is no exaggeration to say that thousands of videos have already been created by netizens.

This look features a dramatic Indian bridal look with warm and vibrant tones. One of the key points of the look is a thick black line, usually drawn using kohl or eyeliner. Several content creators said on social media that it took hours to recreate the look. This trend has been followed by various communities around the world.

“This is my best version of ‘Asoka Makeup Trand’. Because this is the video I spent the most time filming in my life. Spent 8.5 hours. I hope you all enjoy watching it. Thank you,” wrote Thai influencer Nobluk.

Her video received praise from many people. One person wrote: “Very well done…and you should also watch the original Indian movie ‘ASOKA’ where this song is based.” Another person commented: “10/10.” A third person said the influencer “looks beautiful.”

Creators from various other countries joined in to create the magical Indian look that Kareena Kapoor nailed.
