If you’ve somehow missed the bus side ads, movie trailers, and constant media updates, we’ll be the first to let you know. Anya Taylor-Joy is starring in an upcoming movie. In theaters soon.
And it’s not just movies, it’s blockbusters, especially Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga. Set in the post-apocalyptic world of the Mad Max movie series, the first part delves into the backstory of Imperator Furiosa.
Now, whether or not you actually see the movie, for us fashion fans, promo tour looks are just as exciting as the movie itself. Anya didn’t come to her Australian premiere wearing a gold-beaded Paco Rabanne minidress emblazoned with *literal arrows*.
Appearing in the action film at the Cannes Film Festival, she wore a cream cropped Jil Sander jacket and midi pencil skirt, as well as an edgy AF chainmail headpiece. Also at the festival, she wowed as she wore a strapless see-through white dress by Jacquemus and an oversized straw hat that was absolutely unmissable.
But even though she threw the French Riviera behind her, Anya continued to serve! Anya is back in the UK promoting the film in London and she still gave us one of her favorite renditions of the ‘no pants’ trend.
Yes, the actress rocked a *gorgeous* leotard from Giambattista Valli’s SS 2024 Haute Couture collection without, you guessed it, pants.
The black high-leg leotard was off-the-shoulder and featured a white floral ruffle at the neckline, along with black tights, black stilettos and Tiffany diamonds.
As for hair and makeup, Anya looked stunning with a high ponytail and bright red lips.
I am officially *loving* this fit!
