Copa America action continued on Thursday on FOX with defending champion Argentina holding CONMEBOL rival Ecuador to a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes plus injury time in the quarterfinals at NRG Stadium in Houston.
There was no extra time in the Copa America knockout stages, so the match went to a penalty shootout. Emiliano Martinez was the man to win it again, saving two rare errors from Lionel Messi to secure a 4-2 victory in the shootout.
