Nashville, Tennessee – Tennessee’s statewide unemployment rate fell for the second consecutive month in March, according to new data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The seasonally adjusted interest rate for the month was 3.2%, down 0.1 percentage points from February’s 3.3%. Tennessee’s all-time low unemployment rate was 3.1%, which the state recorded for a three-month period in 2023.
