Home goods retailer Corne’s HomePlus filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday and announced plans to close at least 70 stores in 13 states.Cornes said on its website that it would close 18 stores in Florida, nine in Texas, and seven in Arizona.
