ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif revealed on Friday that Pakistan would host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in 2027, directing the city administration to start preparations well in advance. The United Nations General Assembly on Friday overwhelmingly voted to endorse a declaration outlining “tangible, timebound, and irreversible steps” towards a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians ahead of a meeting of world leaders.
