An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Wednesday granted post-arrest bail to Shahrez Khan, the nephew of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, in connection with the May 9 Jinnah House attack case. ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gill announced the reserved verdict after hearing arguments from both the defence and prosecution. The court accepted the bail petition and ordered Shahrez’s release. During the hearing, defence counsel Rana Mudassar maintained that Shahrez had been falsely implicated.
