At least three passersby were killed and 14 were injured, including three police personnel on Thursday as a powerful improvised explosive device (IED) struck near a police vehicle in Wana Bazaar, South Waziristan.  The blast occurred near Shakai Stand, police officials confirmed, adding that unidentified assailants also opened fire following the incident.
