Many of Donald Trump’s critics have suggested that Barron, the former president’s youngest son, is now under intense scrutiny as he enters politics.

Social media users have said that since Barron Trump, who turned 18 in March, was announced as a Florida delegate to the Republican National Convention, he is now on “fair ground” and has faced attacks from the media and others. It is no longer “off limits.”

Florida Republican Party Chairman Evan Power said Barron, who will graduate from high school in May, will be one of 41 at-large delegates from Florida to the Republican National Convention in July, where his father was a member of the Republican Party. He said he would be approved as a presidential candidate in 2024, NBC said. The news was first reported.

The move marks the first time the 18-year-old has attracted so much public political attention, making him one of the RNC delegates from across Florida, along with his brother Eric, Donald Trump Jr., and Tiffany. .

Barron’s decision to join the rest of his family on the political stage has led to suggestions that the 18-year-old may not be able to avoid criticism for his age or actions.

Alison Gill, political commentator and host Muller, she wrote In a podcast posted on X (formerly Twitter), Barron said while sharing NBC News reporting, “it’s no longer off limits.”

X user Rob Volek said Baron’s foray into politics “would end very badly.”

“He’s being fair to the media now. I’m actually surprised. I thought Melania would do everything to stop this, but now Barron, now an adult, is joining his father’s circus. If you made a personal decision to participate, that’s fine,” Volek added. .

“Barron Trump is now officially fair,” posted Devin Nunes’ Alt Mom, a popular parody social media account that claims to be the mother of the former California congressman.

Another social media user wrote: “Barron Trump will be entering politics as a Florida delegate at the Republican convention.

“Children are off limits. But Barron is considered an adult at age 18. If Barron chooses to join the Republican political circus, there will be a fight.”

President Trump’s office was contacted for comment via email.

Barron recently made headlines after asking the judge overseeing his hush money trial in New York to allow him to miss a day of court to attend an 18-year-old’s high school graduation on May 17. became part of.

Judge Juan Marchan adjourned the case over falsifying corporate records to May 17, allowing President Trump to attend his son’s high school graduation in Florida.

“We have a large delegation of grassroots leaders, elected officials, and even Trump’s family,” Power said in a statement confirming Barron’s representation.

“Florida continues to have a great convention team, but more importantly, we are preparing to beat Florida and get a big win.”
