Karnataka Lok Sabha Election Voting 2024 Live Updates: Voting for the second phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections began in Karnataka at 7 am on Friday and is scheduled to conclude by 6 pm. The overall voter turnout recorded at 1 pm was 38.23 per cent, with Dakshina Khanda having the highest turnout of over 40 per cent and Bengaluru Central the lowest at 30.10 per cent. Among the early voters who lined up outside polling booths to exercise their franchise were Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, author Sudha Murthy, actor Prakash Raj and Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly R. Karnataka, which has a total of 28 constituencies, will vote in two phases, each covering 14 constituencies.
