RALEIGH — Campbell University on Wednesday agreed to a partnership with Wake Tech to provide students at North Carolina’s largest community college with a secure path to a bachelor’s degree. The presidents of both schools signed the memorandum of understanding during a ceremony at Wake Tech’s Scott Northern Wake Campus in Raleigh.
Pursuant to the agreement, Wake Tech students will earn an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from Wake Tech, or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Criminal Justice Technology or Biopharmaceutical Technology to secure college admission. and must enroll in university. Campbell graduated from Wake Tech less than a year ago.
“Whether engineering, biosciences, medicine, business, or any of the many career fields our students pursue, the programs offered at Wake Tech align well with the undergraduate and graduate programs we offer at Campbell University.” said Campbell University President Dr. J. Bradley Creed. “This agreement with our northern neighbor is a strategic partnership that provides a seamless transfer process and supports the academic and professional goals of our students. We are thrilled to partner with a dynamic university like Wake Tech. I couldn’t be happier.”

To support Wake Tech students’ transition to college, Campbell faculty and staff provide communication throughout the transfer process, as well as advice and guidance regarding admissions and financial aid. Students in this program also have the opportunity to participate in Campbell’s campus events, including athletic and cultural activities, to foster a sense of belonging within the university community.

Campbell University recently entered into similar agreements with Central Carolina Community College and Catawba Valley Community College.
