In just under a month, college football fans will get their hands on EA Sports College Football 25. Until the game actually releases, people will continue to speculate on who the top rated players in the game will be, especially as they wait with bated breath to see who the top QBs in each conference will be.
Expectations are pretty high for Fresno State’s Mikey Keene, who was a strong contender out West in 2023 after transferring from UCF.

Recently, the College Football Network projected the ratings of each team’s starters to estimate who the top starting quarterbacks in the game would be. Keene had the best statistics among Mountain West starting quarterback candidates with a projected overall rating of 92, giving him the seventh-best quarterback rating in the game overall.
In 2023, Keene completed 283 of 422 passes for 2,976 yards, 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, as well as one rushing touchdown, in his first season as a member of the Bulldogs football program. The redshirt junior previously played in 15 games over two seasons at Central Florida.

EA Sports College Football 25 will be released for Playstation 5 and XBOX Series X|S on July 19th. Until then, we’ll just have to keep guessing as to who the game’s top players will actually be.
