Under the deal, CGI will acquire more than 90 credit unions and Celero’s managed services business and forge a new partnership with the central bank.

More than 150 Celero employees will also join CGI.

Celero was formed as a joint venture by three Prairie central banks to provide core banking and other technology services to credit unions.

CGI is one of the world’s largest technology and business consulting firms.
