According to Ukrinform, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense reported that Chinese soldiers had arrived in the country to take part in the joint exercises.
In May, the Counter-Disinformation Center of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine warned that Belarus was opening a second front on the Ukrainian border and conducting information-psychological operations against Ukraine.
The aim is to force Kiev to redeploy some of its troops to the Belarusian border and create panic among the Ukrainian population.

Belarusian officials recently accused Ukraine of massing troops on the border, with Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lukashevich claiming that Ukraine was “trying to drag Belarus into war,” a charge denied by Kiev.
The Belarusian Ministry of Defense stated that the joint training will promote experience exchange and cooperation between the Belarusian and Chinese troops and lay the foundation for the development of relations between Belarus and China.
“The soldiers will take part in joint anti-terrorism training from July 8 to 19.” The Belarusian Ministry of Defense said.
On July 6, monitoring group Belarus Khajun reported that a Chinese aircraft had landed at the Baranovichi military airfield.
The Republic of Belarus supports Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, providing military assets, territory and airspace to Moscow.
Earlier, Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Border Guard Service, said Ukraine did not threaten Belarus, but would respond if the situation on the border changed.
