CMU Tech Celebrates Job Signing Day: Recognizing Student Success and Industry Partnerships

CMU Tech is pleased to announce a Job Signing Day event scheduled for May 1 at 5:30 p.m. This event celebrates student accomplishments and the fruitful partnerships between CMU and various industry leaders.

This semester, CMU is proud to recognize 53 students who have secured jobs in their chosen fields. To commemorate their accomplishments, 21 students and their respective employers will come together to publicly sign a Letter of Intent. Many of our soon-to-be graduates have already found employment before joining us this May. The event is also an opportunity to celebrate the hard work that goes into ensuring students have the skills they need to successfully complete their education, secure employment, and advance.

Tech Signing Day will highlight the diverse career paths CMU students pursue, including roles in aviation technology, early childhood education, transportation services, veterinary technology, welding, wildland fire management, and more. Prominent employers participating in the event include:

  • CMU Tech Aviation Program – Aviation Technology
  • Discovery Kids Learning Center – Early Childhood Education
  • Mini Mavs – Early Childhood Education
  • Glenwood Springs Police Department – ​​POST
  • Grand Junction Police Department – ​​Post
  • Mesa County Sheriff’s Office – POST
  • Silt Police Station – POST
  • City of Grand Junction Fleet Services – Transportation Services
  • Jiffy Lube – Transportation Services
  • Kokopelli Animal Hospital – Vet Tech
  • Montrose Veterinary Clinic – Vet Tech
  • Palisade Pet Care – Vet Tech
  • Great Western Building – Welding
  • U.S. Forest Service – Wildland Fire Management
  • U.S. Bureau of Land Management – ​​Wildland Fire Management
