Conservatory Cannabis, a soon-to-open retail cannabis dispensary in Egg Harbor Township, recently announced it has partnered with the legendary Tony Mart Presents to bring free pop-up summer music events to the South Jersey Shore.

Tony Mart’s concerts on the beach at Somers Point were voted the #1 outdoor concert series in America by USA Today readers.

“We’re based in Southern New Jersey, so we’re excited to partner with an organization we know and love,” said Kayla Montoro, CEO of Conservatory Cannabis Co. “Tony Mart is special to us because they’re legends in our community. They’ve brought free music and good times to our area, and we’re happy to be a part of it.”

Montoro said Conservatory Cannabis strives to partner with organizations that support the community, and this is the first of many partnerships the dispensary has planned.

“We’re blessed to have the opportunity to enjoy Tony Mart while also seeing great developments almost daily,” said Carmen Marotta, CEO of Tony Mart Presents. “However, the most exciting recent development, and one that will greatly benefit so many people in Atlantic County, is the community partnership between Conservatory Cannabis Co. and Tony Mart.”

Marotta said the conservatory’s generous and charitable focus will allow Tony Mart to host even more fun events in the fall, as well as a fun and stylish holiday show.

“We are deeply grateful for their generous support, which has enabled Tony Mart to put on more shows, celebrate Tony Mart’s Southern New Jersey musical heritage in more locations and create an even greater impact by bringing more concerts to everyone’s enjoyment beyond the summer beach concerts and Boardwalk season,” Marotta said.

Tony Mart’s has been a legendary Jersey Shore club since 1944, hosting 130 entertainers from Tony Orlando to Eddie & the Cruisers before closing in 1982. Today, the name lives on as Tony Mart Presents, and the venue hosts free, outdoor live concerts throughout the Jersey Shore summer, including the famous Somers Point Beach Concerts, Mardi Gras on the Boardwalk, and Jersey Gumbo.

Thanks to a sponsorship effort by Conservatory Cannabis, there will be some fun on Friday at 8:30pm with a kick-off welcome party featuring the Tony Mart All-Stars at Josie Kelly’s.

But that’s not all: The partnership will also allow guests to host block parties and late-summer parties on Caroline’s deck overlooking Absecon Island.

Montoro said Conservatory Cannabis’ 5,500-square-foot dispensary ushers in a new era of cannabis, boasting a full range of products so customers can comfortably browse and make purchases with confidence.

Connor Hendrickson, operations manager for Conservatory Cannabis, said he brings his years of experience in the cannabis industry to the store by creating a curated collection of craft products. The store also has a custom app and a tailored loyalty program where customers can shop, place pick-up orders, instantly find out about deals and giveaways, and much more.

Conservatory Cannabis COO John Fleischman is ready to share what he’s built with the community, and he said the vision his team has for the dispensary is a perfect match for Tony Mart’s work in South Jersey.

“I’ve been to some of the events that Carmen and his team have organized and it’s amazing what they do for the community,” Fleischman said. “Hundreds of people come out to enjoy themselves and we’re honored to be a part of it. I couldn’t ask for a better partnership. It was the obvious choice.”
