Authorities in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) have announced that a curfew will be imposed in three districts, Tank, North Waziristan, and South Waziristan, on Tuesday, citing security concerns, Express News reported.

According to official notifications issued by the district administrations, residents are instructed to remain indoors during the curfew period, while travelers entering the region are advised to use alternate routes.

In Tank district, the curfew will be enforced from 6 am to 6 pm in areas including Dabara Bazaar, Korr Qila, Khargi, Manzai, and Kariwam to Jandola. In South Waziristan, the curfew will cover routes from Azizabad Chowk via Sarwekai, Jandola, Korr Qila, and Dabara.

Upper South Waziristan will also be affected, with restrictions in place on roads passing through Asman Manza, Ladha, Makeen, Bibi Raghzai, Sararogha, Kotkai, Jandola, Barwand, and Mola Khan Sarai.

In North Waziristan, the curfew will be enforced along routes from Razmak to Gardei and Kharsin. All three district administrations have urged the public to cooperate and use alternative travel routes to avoid inconvenience during the curfew.

This step is being taken as part of ongoing security measures in the region. Officials have not yet disclosed how long the curfew may remain in effect beyond the specified date.
