Polsky Center Deep Tech Ventures – An initiative launched in 2023 to provide sector-specific expertise, entrepreneurial training and funding, currently supporting three accelerators. Duality, Transformand revivalThese programs focus on quantum, data science and AI, and clean technology, respectively.

At the summit, accelerator participants and other startups from the University of Chicago ecosystem will give short presentations about their work, including new treatments and developments.We are creating innovations ranging from diagnostics to battery and nuclear fuel recycling. More than 20 startups participated.

Artificial intelligence, which is being used in nearly every industry, will be the subject of the morning keynote. Satyajeet Salgar, MBA ‘0, Director of Product Management and UX, Google AI7. David Uminsky, executive director of the Data Science Institute at the University of Chicago, will moderate a discussion about building products in the age of AI.
In the afternoon, there will be keynote speeches by two female entrepreneurs in the healthcare field. Sheila Mikhail, MBA ’93, Advisor and Co-Founder of Asklepios Biopharmaceuticals (AskBio), moderated by Jennifer Fried, MBA ’15, CEO and co-founder of Flow Medical.
