TikTok content creator and actress Dylan Mulvaney attended the Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet Pride Party on Thursday night, which also featured a performance from Paris Hilton, who performed songs like “Stars Are Blind” and her new song “I’m Free.” Mulvaney hopped on the coquette trend at the event in a ruffled strapless dress with all-over floral embellishments, red nails, and headline-grabbing heels from the brand Club Elle London.
Mulvaney first gained national fame through her project, “Girlhood,” a series of short videos documenting her gender transition.
The shoe is a square toe sandal style. The upper of the sandal is adorned with a ribbon adorned with large diamonds. The silhouette features a cushioned sole and a sculpted block heel that is just over three inches. The rest of the upper is a strappy sandal with straps that wrap around the heel and ankle.
The shoes weren’t as flashy as Hilton’s on-stage look, which featured a rainbow gradient inspired by the LGBTQ+ pride flag, but they were similarly embellished.
The silver Club L London sandals are currently on sale for $115.
Bows as embellishments and details were all the rage a few years ago and are making a comeback in the coquettish trend. Designers like Versace and Prada have released a range of bow-embellished shoes, seen on the likes of Michaela Jay Rodriguez, Selena Gomez and Victoria Beckham. Brands like Erdem, Bottega Veneta and Acne Studios showed bow-detailed shoes in their Spring 2024 runway shows. Sarah Jessica Parker debuted bow-embellished boots from her eponymous line for her 50th birthday.
