Dzyne Acquires Highpoint Aero Technologies to Expand Its Autonomous Driving Technology Offerings; Matt McCue’s Statement

DZYNE TECHNOLOGIES Have Acquires HighPoint Aero Technologies The company will make the acquisition for an undisclosed amount to add anti-unmanned autonomous systems capabilities and expand its portfolio of air defense technology platforms.

High Point CEO Al White has joined DZYNE as executive vice president of aerospace and defense technologies. C-UAS businessThe Irvine, California-based developer of autonomous defense systems said Thursday.

High Point designs and manufactures air defense technology specifically targeted at countering UAS and, along with DZYNE, is a portfolio company of Dallas-based private investment firm Highlander Partners.

The transaction will enable DZYNE to offer a broad range of defense technology systems, including autonomous aircraft technology, including launch effects and long endurance intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, counter-UAS platforms, software and artificial intelligence technology, and mission operations capabilities.

CEO of DZYNE Matt McHugh The company said the acquisition marks the beginning of a new chapter for its AI-enabled products.

“Combining cutting-edge, mission-proven C-UAS technology with our cost-disruptive airborne ISR and innovative launched effects platforms enables DZYNE to provide end-to-end technology and mission solutions for our nation’s most critical mission sets,” McCue added.

DZYNE LEADERSHIP CHANGE

DZYNE’s former CEO, Tom Strutt, will continue to serve as a member of the company’s board of directors.

DZYNE has hired Jeff Payne as chief financial officer and appointed Jeff Maass as chief technology officer, Joseph Francescon as chief government relations officer and Christopher Miller as chief strategy officer.

David Levy, who was appointed DZYNE’s chief revenue officer in January, will continue in that role.
