Ear bandages have become trendy among Republicans following the near-assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Butler County on Saturday.
After the shooting, President Trump was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital, where he had a white square bandage wrapped around his right ear, and this fashion trend became popular among his supporters.
The BBC reported that several people were seen with bandaged ears on the third night of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
According to the BBC, members of the Arizona delegation said they were wearing the bandages as a show of solidarity with the former president, who survived an assassination attempt.

One supporter said she bandaged her own ear to help Trump “make a new fashion statement” and let him know “how much we love him,” the BBC reported.
Rep. Michael Schafer, with a bandage over his right ear, said the trend is nothing like the ubiquitous red “Make America Great Again” hats.
“I think this is a momentous event,” he told Reuters.
“We recognize this is a tragedy that should never have happened, and we want Trump to know that we are in this with him,” Arizona Representative Ray Michaels told The Associated Press.
The FBI identified the shooter at the rally as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, who opened fire at the rally, killing one Buffalo Township man and critically wounding one Plum man and one Moon man before being shot and killed by Secret Service agents.
