RED OAK, Iowa – Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Small Business, today announced Lamon Enterprises of Marshall County as the Small Business of the Week. Senator Ernst will be honoring small businesses in all 99 Iowa counties throughout this legislative session.

Raymon Enterprises has earned a strong reputation for quality products and attentive service, and we look forward to the company’s continued success in the future.”
Raymon Enterprises was founded in 1973 by Don Martin under the name Donco Industries. In 1985, Larry Raymon and his wife Joynel purchased the company and moved it to Albion, Iowa. In 2006, Donco Industries was officially renamed Raymon Enterprises. In 2022, Larry’s son Chad became president of the company, which now has over 80 employees and operates out of a 65,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Albion. In addition to being the owner of Raymon Enterprises, Larry believed in giving back to the community and did so by serving in the Army National Guard and founding the Marshalltown Economic Development Impact Committee. In February 2024, Larry passed away leaving a lasting legacy for his family and the community. Raymon Enterprises will celebrate its 40th anniversary.Number August 2024 will mark the anniversary of our opening at Albion.
