Preliminary 2024 House Exit Polls Results: Exit poll results for the 2024 Indian Lok Sabha elections are expected to be released on Saturday following the conclusion of the final phase of the marathon voting process that began on April 19. Vote counting will begin on June 4 but, as per Election Commission guidelines, television and news channels can carry exit poll data and its results from 6:30 pm today onwards.
Exit polls will reveal how India voted in its 18th general election. So far, political analysts such as Prashant Kishore and Yogendra Yadav have come out with their predictions for the 2024 Indian Lok Sabha elections, raising expectations.
While Kishor predicted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi could lead the incumbent BJP government to victory again and the party could win equal or even more seats than the 303 it won in 2019, Yadav suggested that the saffron party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) may face challenges in achieving a decisive victory.
Exit polls show how people voted in an election. The results are based on interviews with voters immediately after they left the polling station.
