This summer has seen some unexpected dress trends pop up on the streets alongside the expected strapless and poplin styles. Slowly but surely, the negligee dress trend has been gaining momentum over the past few weeks and is close to peaking in popularity. In fact, it may have already peaked based on the number of people we’ve seen wearing negligee dresses recently.

Mimicking the energy of a nightgown, the negligee dress trend offers a lightweight, breathable styling solution much needed for hot summer days. Decidedly romantic in silhouette and detailing, with designs often featuring intricate embroidery or beautiful lace hems, negligee dresses are a fun and alluring addition to any dress collection.
